Our Clients' Stories

"I am so happy and pleased that we helped make this easier for our clients during this life transition" Paul Staley

E.S. and J.S. were married for four years and made a mutual decision to split ways. They had no children, and wanted the divorce to be fast and simple. They had already decided who should keep what property, and needed an attorney to prepare the paperwork. Our office handled the case and obtained a divorce which reflected exactly what the parties wanted. The process was peaceful and completed within five months.

E.S.: "Fantastic! Thanks Beth, you've been great"

A.L. and her husband had an 8 year old son together. She thought they could informally resolve their differences and enter into a settlement. Her husband was in the military and moved during the case. He stopped paying support and threatened to take their son to Texas. When it became apparent that he wasn't going to work with our office, we proceeded by default and obtained a divorce without his participation in the case. She received physical custody and child support, as well as a portion of his military retirement.

A.L.: "Thank you so much!! I can't tell you without sounding cheesy how much I appreciate you and everything that you do!! I know that you are busy with other cases, you have made me feel like mine is the only one. I know that sounds weird, but I can't tell you how much I appreciate you and everyone that has helped me there at the office. Thanks again!"

L.D. contacted our office from the East Coast. She was separated from her military husband, and found herself in love with a new man and expecting a baby. She wanted to start a new life, and needed her divorce finalized in order to move on. Because her husband was stationed in San Diego, the case had to take place here. Our office facilitated a long-distance divorce and kept L.D. informed of each step along the way."

L.D.: "Thanks for everything. You made this stressful process much easier for me."
